Daversa Construction Company is working for Comcast installing conduit in the Township Right-of-Ways. If you have any issues, please call them at 717-334-9553.
C&R Directional Boring, LLC is doing work for the Walker Township Water Association installing a new water line in the Township Right of Way. Any issues, please call them at 814-383-9955.

THE TOWNSHIP IS ACCEPTING BRUSH, GRASS, AND LEAVES AT OUR COMPOSTING AREA ON ZION BACK ROAD. THE GATE WILL BE OPEN 24/7. PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE SIGNS. THIS SERVICE IS FOR WALKER TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY, PLEASE NO ILLEGAL DUMPING.

With the winter season here, we would like to remind our residents of the following:
Please do not leave vehicles parked along the roads when a snow/ice event is forecast. These vehicles along with other obstructions on the roads and right-of-ways hinder our snow plow capability.
If you just cleared your driveway please place the snow to the right side of your driveway when facing the street. That way our plows will not push the snow back onto your driveway as they pass.
We are not responsible for mailboxes damaged by the snow from the plows – if the plow hits the mailbox we will compensate the home owner once a bill is submitted; however if the snow damages the mailbox then the home owner is responsible. Please make sure all mailboxes are secured tightly.
Please be cautious of and courteous to our snow plow drivers – we cannot be everywhere at one time and will do our best to have your streets cleared as soon as possible.
